Nunavut

Nunavut is the newest, largest, and northernmost territory of Canada. It was separated officially from the Northwest Territories on April 1, 1999, via the Nunavut Act and the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement… wikipedia.org

Our latest podcast is a poem about Nunavut. For several years I had the privilege of living and working there. I have many fond memories of that time. It was because of my work there that I have been able to have my “cabin in the woods”

The beauty of the territory will stay with me always.

“For as long as I can remember, I have loved snow and ice. As a result, I have spent most of my life exploring the Arctic region. These journeys have brought such joy and beauty to my life that I have dedicated myself to helping preserve these wonderful frozen places. More than ever before, I am driven to share my passion for the Arctic, a region whose health and stability have far-reaching consequences for us all.”

"Daunted by the futility of trying to keep up with all the demands they can't possible keep, some will just surrender and retire gracefully into relative oblivion; Following Candid's advice they will give up the world and cultivate their little gardens." Flow- Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
