Mystery

This week I’ve had a flock of tiny birds visiting my feeders.

I think they may be a species of sparrow

They have been a real pleasure to watch because they are very active and squabble a lot

I looked in my two bird books but saw none that have the green stripe under their wing.

No matter, they are welcome guests and add a sparkle to early spring days.
